The Incredibles Virtual Run Race Recap

I signed up to run the Incredibles Virtual Race in April.  I opted to run it as one of my training tempo runs.  I thought the challenge of it being an actual race would assist with motivation.

The Incredibles Virtual Run, was organized by Level Up Runs.  This was the first virtual run I ever participated in, and I enjoyed the experience.  I signed up for the 10K distance as it fit in great with the training I was doing for my half marathon.

Even though this race wasn't "officially" timed, I had a goal to keep my pace under 10:00/mile. I ended meeting that goal, knowing that this was a "race" helped me to keep the pace up.

When I finished, I entered in my details into the "Submit Your Results" area on levelupruns.com for accountability purposes.

A few weeks later, my medal came in the mail.  It is very nice... and LARGE!

Level Up Runs has races lined up each month this summer.  I plan on signing up each month to keep my motivation up since the racing calendar for live races in Houston is pretty bleak during the summer months.

Nice job on your run, and great medal! I like virtual races! I've done a couple and I like that they don't have as much pressure as the more traditional races. I like that you can post your results online!
