October Coffee Date

wp-1472756999291.jpgToday I'm joining the Ultimate Coffee Date for some catching up!

If we were having coffee, you would notice that I'm drinking tea.  I gave up my coffee addiction several years ago.  I usually drink a cup of yerba mate in the morning and then a cup of green tea.

If we were having coffee, I'd let you know that we finally got our first fall cool front!  It won't be very long lived, but I sure am enjoying the drops in temperatures and humidity! I even ran in some capris this morning!

If we were having coffee, I'd tell you that both of my dogs are wanting to run again!  This really makes me so happy... coupled with the fact that it is getting cooler out so I can actually bring them out for a run.  The youngest, Anam, is always ready to go for a run... but our oldest, Sorcha, has been hiding from me since last Spring when I break out the stunt puppy leash.

If we were having coffee, I'd show you my new pair of running shoes... and tell you the deal I got on them! I can't pass up a pair of running shoes, when they are on sale for more than 50% off.  They are last years model, but I have another pair in this version and they work well for me. wp-1475265638567.jpg

Well, that catches me up... what would you tell me, if we were having coffee?

I'm linking up with Got 2 Run 4 Me, Fitness Mom Wine Country, & Confessions of a Mother Runner for the Ultimate Coffee Date!

  1. New shoes are always great - even if there the same model you've had. Actually, those can be the best since you know they work well for you. Thanks for joining us for tea!

  2. Hooray for a fellow tea drinker! :D!

I feel like one of the only ways to get me to run would be if I were around a dog that wanted to. I can't say no to em'! :P

  6. I always look for last year's model too. Isn't it amazing how much cheaper they are? Sometimes I can't find my size though. Glad to hear you got a taste of fall!

  13. It is fun... and even though they aren't big scary dogs, I feel safer running with them.

I'd be drinking tea too! I never really go the coffee thing, the smell alone make my stomach churn :/
It's finally feeling a little more like fall here too.
Your pups are so cute! Did you train them to run with you? I used to run with my pup, but she can't focus enough for me - too much stopping & sniffing ;p
I'm all for last year's shoes if it means getting a deal on them! Nice!

  15. Yes, they did the couch to 5k program with me when i started up running. Sorcha has run as far as 13 miles with me. I hear ya on the focus... they loose it sometimes when a squirrel or rabbit c rosses our path (I've been known to go flying when that happens)
