I'm linking up for the Friday Five 2.0!  This week we're getting to know each other a little better by sharing 5 little known facts about us.

If you've read my blog for a while, you know a little about me... but I bet you didn't know these 5 things:

  1. I'm a lefty... although I throw and bowl right handed, my dad bought my a right handed softball glove, so I had to learn to throw with my right. lefty

  2. I love pink... I also innocently thought the Aerosmith song Pink was about love for that color, until the hubs informed me differently.pink

  3. I'm married to a carnivore... sometimes that makes dinner planning difficult, sometimes I just don't tell him something is vegan and he doesn't notice.

  4. Speaking of the hubs... we met online, we are an online dating success story - we just celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary. find-love-online-dating-sites

  5. I was a band geek in High School :-) 11049591_10203552306118811_8329448503239700582_n

  1. Ha! I was a band geek, too (flute). I'm right-handed, but am pretty ambidextrous.....I actually bat much better left-handed. There's also a lot of things I just naturally do left-handed...like sweeping and raking...weird, huh!

  3. Fellow band geek here -- clarinet and piano (in the "jazz" band!). I think a lot of the old rock songs had hidden (and not so hidden) meanings. I'm still catching on to some of them.

  4. I played piano until about Jr. High... then got too busy.

  5. I am a lefty as well. I only write with my right and bat. But I throw with my left. When I was younger my dad made sure I was going to continue to throw with my left because he didn't want to buy me the mitt and then I decide to change hands. Guess they were more expensive back then. I still throw with my left to this day.

  6. That is interesting... I had to learn how to write with my right when I was in 1st grade because I broke my left hand, but that skill has disappeared.
