March Coffee Date

wp-1472756999291.jpgToday I'm joining the Ultimate Coffee Date for some catching up!  On the first Saturday of the month... we gather with our warm beverage of choice for some catch up!

Over tea, I'd tell you that I finally got to run on some trails this week.  I really enjoyed it too!  Since I'm prone to falling and tripping, I was used to watching the ground for tree roots, uneven ground and pinecones.  I was surprised to see a deer on my route (and a little scared when it started moving towards me).  There was this lovely pond too in the midst of the trails.  I'm looking forward to many more runs out here, and I think my dogs would like it too!

Over tea, I'd show you my sign for the Woodlands Marathon... I'm really excited to be spectating and cheering for all the runners around miles 4-5!

Over tea, I'd tell you how I'm also going to be volunteering at the Woodlands Marathon.  My shift starts at 10:30 at the finish line, I'm thrilled to be able to give back to the running community.

Over tea, I'd share my excitement for March Madness... it really is my favorite time of the year.  I love college basketball, particularly my beloved Jayhawks.  They've been doing AWESOME this year, I'm excited about their prospects in the big tourney.

Over tea, I'd ask if you've entered my giveaway on Instagram for some nuun and a life factory water bottle.  If not, head over to @fueledbycarrots and enter!  Contest ends Mar 4 at 11:59pm.

Well, that catches me up...what would you tell me, if we were having tea or coffee?

I'm linking up with I'm linking up with Running on Happy & Fairytales and Fitness for Friday Five 2.0; and Got 2 Run 4 Me, Fitness Mom Wine Country, & Confessions of a Mother Runner for the Ultimate Coffee Date!

  2. It is fun to volunteer for races sometimes and see things from a different perspective for a change. I have fallen twice on trail runs so no more of those for me! Thanks for joining us for coffee :)

  7. Fun post- I love the giveaway idea and I of course, entered! That sign is hysterical too. March Madness is so fun- like "having a ticket to the game" I like to say. My team is always Syracuse, not because I went there, but it's where I am from. They won today, so they have a game in the 2nd round, on the 8th! I love it!

Good for you for volunteering! I try to volunteer for at least one race a year - gives you such a different appreciation for what race organizers go through.
