Spring Scenes From My Runs

wp-1473774907071.jpgToday I'm joining the lovely ladies for Tuesdays On The Run.  Where we talk about a different topic each week that is running related. Today's topic is "Spring Scenes From My Run"

It's sprummer in H-town, Summer officially begins tomorrow... but it already feels like summer in the spring.  Foliage is lush and green... flowers are blooming... and the turtles are out!

I've mainly been running on the 2 wooded paths near my house that have a pond off them so that I can take my dogs with me and they can cool off at the half way point.

This spring, I was able to spend a week visiting my family in Kansas in May and had the opportunity to run on the country roads I ran on when I was in school.  So I had a few different scenes on my run... that included some animals other than turtles, rabbits, and squirrels.

  1. I don't see horses or cows but lots of deer are around here!

  2. I wish my spring scenes look like that! Occasionally they do, but not very often. Usually it's my neighborhood . . . between walking the dogs & running it would be frightening to tally up the miles I've spent in this neighborhood!

  3. I'm fortunate to be able to run 1 mile out of my neighborhood to hit the trails!
