Runfessions - Final Edition for 2017

As I sit here typing this... I'm just amazed that there are just a few short days left in 2017!  I'm ready to get the weekend started and the festivities of ringing in the new year.  But first I need to clear the air with my Runfessions - Final Edition for 2017

Runfessions - Final Edition for 2017

I RUNFESS...

I feel like a wimp in this cold weather, especially with what I'm seeing in the north. It doesn't seem like I should be complaining about low 40's... but here I am complaining.  I guess what is cold or hot is all relative.

Runfessions - Final Edition for 2017

I'm not a morning person... never have been.  I had planned to get up and get my workouts in each morning while I'm off work.  That hasn't exactly happened.  One day it was 3pm, another it was 11:30. Today, hopefully by 10:30... well maybe 11, or 12.

Runfessions - Final Edition for 2017

I haven't been blogging much... and I don't know why.  I had a race recap in my drafts folder for the longest time and I think I just had a mental block on writing it. I'm hoping to get back to more frequent blogging in the new year.

Runfessions - Final Edition for 2017

My race schedule for 2018 is well... not even close to being figured out. There's just so many races... so little time!  I have 2 races in January... then it's anyone's guess.

Runfessions - Final Edition for 2017

I have some big exciting news... but I'm sworn to secrecy until the 1st! It has really been killing me to keep it a secret, and here I've left you with some suspense... tune into my Instagram on January 1 for the big announcement!

That's it for me... what do you have to Runfess?

I'm linking up with Running on Happy & Fairytales and Fitness for the Friday Five 2.0 linkup and with Marcia's Healthy Slice for Runfessions.

  2. I think that sometimes we need a little break from blogging in order for more ideas to come to us. Sometimes I get writers block too so that's why I join link-ups to help give me some topics.

We've got some super cold weather here in New England, but I don't think you're a wimp. 40 degrees IS cold for where you live!

Sometimes when I get writers block, I go to Google and search blog writing prompts. I usually find something interesting!

  4. I have to workout in the morning, but this week I switched my OTF class from 5 am to 6 am to 7 am -- and it was still hard to get out of bed for it. I'll be back to hear your big news!

  7. The cold weather definitely makes it tough to be motivated to run....I definitely miss 40 degree, heck, 30 degree weather right now! I'm hoping my blogging motivation picks up in 2018 since I defnitely hit a slump the last few months. Happy New Year!

  11. I think knowing that you don't have a deadline (e.g.; work) makes it harder.

  12. I've been spoiling myself a little too much with the sleeping in... next week going back to work is going to hurt!
