2020 Goals ~ End of January Check-in

Hard to believe that January is already in the books.  Like I mentioned in my 2020 Goals post, I would regularly post updates with how I was doing against the goals that I set for myself.  
January was a pretty good month as far as goals.  My progress against my goals is noted below:

Main Personal Goal:

  • Do something that brings me joy at least once a week.  I've made progress - spending quiet time in nature, and giving back to the running community were two things that brought me joy. 
  • Create a jar of happy by writing down those things so that I can look back on them at the end of the year.  I don't have a jar yet... but I have wrote down my things for when I get a jar. 

Fitness Goals:

  • Run the year! 2020 miles in 2020.  153 miles for January... making progress. 
  • Get into a strength training routine - 2 times/week by the end of January. Nope.
  • Practice Yoga at least once a week.Nope.
  • Ride my bike, use my paddleboard, hoola hoop! Nope.

Health Goals:

  • Get all my scheduled health screenings in this year (Physical, Blood Work, Mammogram, Well Woman). Haven't scheduled yet.
  • Eat healthier. Cut down on the junk food and sweets. Had a few bad days, but overall better. 
  • Hydration.  Aim for at least 64 oz of water a day. Mostly... key was getting 32 oz of water in before morning coffee during the week. Need to work on weekend hydration.

Blog Goals:

  • Blog more regularly - find a schedule and stick to it. Nope.
  • Finish the redesign of my blog. Making progress.
  • Post at least 1 recipe each month. Nope.
