2020 Goals - February Update

This year is chugging along at a really fast pace... February is toast. As I mentioned in my 2020 Goals post, I would regularly post updates with how I was doing against the goals that I set for myself.  
February was a stellar month for my running goals, the others... well.   My progress against my goals is noted below:

Main Personal Goal:

  • Do something that brings me joy at least once a week.  I've made progress - spending time with friends and time in nature were top joy-bringers. 
  • Create a jar of happy by writing down those things so that I can look back on them at the end of the year.  Still no jar... still writing things down for when I get a jar. 

Fitness Goals:

  • Run the year! 2020 miles in 2020.  175 miles for February... 328 miles for the year. 
  • Get into a strength training routine - 2 times/week. Nope .
  • Practice Yoga at least once a week.Nope.
  • Ride my bike, use my paddleboard, hoola hoop! Nope (but I did get my bike out of the shed... baby steps).

Health Goals:

  • Get all my scheduled health screenings in this year (Physical, Blood Work, Mammogram, Well Woman). Haven't scheduled yet.
  • Eat healthier. Cut down on the junk food and sweets. Chips and candy were less than months before, bringing healthy snacks to work was key. 
  • Hydration.  Aim for at least 64 oz of water a day. During work week 100%, still struggle on the weekend.

Blog Goals:

  • Blog more regularly - find a schedule and stick to it. Increased blogging from 2 in January up to 3 in February, still trying to figure out a schedule that will work.
  • Finish the redesign of my blog. Mostly finished.
  • Post at least 1 recipe each month. Posted 2 in February!
