Workouts - Last Week Today - April 23

Workouts Last Week TodayWelcome to my weekly workout recap, today I'm recapping my workouts from last week today.

After taking a week off running following my 25k and half marathon, I was excited to get back to it.  I was able to get in 3 runs this week (2 with the dogs), and I continued with my plank-a-day and daily squats on most days, but I only managed to get in my arm workout once this week.  I skipped out on Yin Yoga after the hubs wanted to have a date night during the week (who could pass up that).

Workouts Last Week Today:

Sunday - Rest.  1:00 plank, 60 squats.

Monday - Rest. 1:00 plank, 60 squats.  Had planned to run with the Gooses Acre Running Club, but a thunderstorm rolled in right at start time.

Tuesday - Rest 1:00 plank, 60 squats.

Wednesday - 5 miles easy with Anam.  1:00 plank, 60 squats.

Thursday - Rest. 1:00 plank, 60 squats. Arms.

Friday - 5 miles easy with Sorcha.  60 squats.

Saturday - 10 miles.

Total Miles = 20

I'm linking up with HoHo Runs and MissSippi Piddlin’ for the Weekly Wrap.

  2. I'm not sure my husband has ever suggested a date night during the week -- I might just die of shock if he had!

  3. I was thinking that when I was reading through the recaps yesterday. Popular distance for the weekend.

  4. Ha! We do most of ours during the week because neither of us really dig crowds.

  5. Wow! 60 squats seems like a lot! I've been adding planks back into to my 2-3 times weekly strength routine. But, I notice they make my previously broken feet feel sore. Obviously, I shouldn't do them barefoot anymore. (duh) It would be fun to go out during the week. It's rare we do that unless there's a birthday to celebrate. Thanks for linking, Vicki!

  6. Squat machine! I was inspired by you to try the plank a day thing last month. I didn't get in one every day, but way more than normal and I've definitely improved my plank stamina. Sounds like you are getting great, varied workouts in!

  7. It was easy to do squats as I brushed my teeth!
