Where did January go??

It seems like yesterday we were ringing in the new year and today I'm writing February 1 on everything.

One of my goals for the year was to run 1,000 miles... I'm right on track.  Even with taking it easy this month.

I have been trying to baby my foot due to the pain that I have been feeling this month.  I got the bunion bootie last Friday and tested it out on a 5 mile run that evening.  I only got one for my right foot, where the bunion is worse and I felt no pain in the arch area when I ran on Friday night.  I definitely felt some pain in my left foot though.  I took Saturday off and went for a 10 mile run on Sunday.  I wore the bunion bootie on my right foot and taped my left foot with KT tape.  I did have some pain, but nothing like I was having before. I think the issue just might be the bunions.  I will continue to do the foot strengthening exercises, stretching and rolling and hopefully it will continue to improve.
