Workouts - Last Week Today - October 30

fontover_201671013354641-1.jpgToday I ran the Houston Half! It was a fun one and my 4th half for the year.  Stay tuned for the recap. The countdown has started for the Houston Marathon... 11 weeks away.  I've embarked on my 5th week of training for the marathon.

This week, there isn't much to tell as far as training. I did manage to get my long run in, but after that nada.  What I did do instead was get some minor surgery to get a cyst drained and removed after it had gotten infected.  It was painful and I got some pretty hard core antibiotics, but I'm all better now.  I'm not sure if it was the infection, the surgery or the drugs that knocked me out, but I was one exhausted lady throughout the week.

Sunday - Rest / visiting Deer Lease

Monday - 8 miles easy

Total Miles = 8

  3. Your minor surgery sounds pretty painful. Thankfully, it didn't seem to affect you at your half marathon! I'm glad you recovered quickly. I can't wait to hear the details of your race. Thanks for linking, Vicki!
